Easy Escape

Maybe it's just the altitude, but being in Baguio makes me feel wonderful again. I like waking up to cool, quiet mornings, wandering around in a place where there are more trees than people, and eating good food with best friends, exchanging great stories and laughs not knowing what we're supposed to do next.

It's as if I can feel time pass in this place. I am aware of where I am every second of the hour, I know how I really feel, and I am allowed to wallow in my thoughts without causing complications.

Everything in the place makes five to six hours of traveling well worth it.

The city, or town, has changed of course. More people, more buildings, more of everything. So after a few hours in the city, move to the quieter side of town. And then breathe... and fall in love with life all over again.

  1. Although, I've been in Baguio for three times, I can't seem to be fulfilled with the time I spent there. It seems there's always new to discover there. I specifically like the temperature and the roads going up and down... hehehe!

Anyway, nice sharing of experience. Congrats!
